We offer a full range of blinds: Roman (fabric), wooden Venetians and aluminium Venetians, roller blinds, vertical blinds, panel glide and bamboo blinds.
When space is a constraint but softer finishes are the preferred decor, roman blinds are the ideal solution. Both warm and elegant, they can be made from just about any fabric to match your curtains or bed linen. You are invited to choose from our extensive fabric collections, or bring us your own fabric and we will make the blinds up with that.
We use polysateen cream lining, which withstands the sun well, but we can also supply block-out lining at a minimal extra cost. If the window in question is belted with sun all day and you need to darken the room, then the block-out lining will be recommended. This also serves to protect the fabric from fading and perishing.
Additional finishes available include scalloped bottom edges, piping, borders, and the chain-operated head rail mechanisms.
The wood Venetian has become the premium blind for exclusive domestic and commercial applications. These blinds are made mostly from imported basswood. This wood offers the best combination of weight, stability and appearance, and is stained and coated to the highest standards. The wood Venetian combines aesthetic appeal and exceptional functionality.
The contemporary modern favorite, these are still by far the biggest selling product by numbers. The clinical lines and awesome light control effects make these the preferred choice for most modern interior finishes. In openings where the setting sun generates unbearable amounts of heat at a certain angle, Venetians are generally the best option available. Add to this the ability of aluminum to tolerate moist environments and harsh sun, and we have a highly cost-effective and attractive solution for almost all applications.
Aluminium Venetian blinds are available in a wide range of colours and textured finishes, including a wood-grain look and a perforated slat.
The bamboo blind has been developed to perform in the harsh African environment, and offers an exciting decorating option for domestic or commercial applications. A wide choice of patterns, colours and styles makes this a most versatile choice. The highest quality components and materials ensure that this blind will meet and exceed your expectations for years to come.
For most applications with sliding windows or doors, the vertical blind is still the most practical and cost-effective solution for covering large openings. With the ability to block out the view or light from one side or the other, vertical blinds have unique qualities, with a diverse range of fabric colours and textures adding to the degree of light filtration.
These were one of the first types of blinds ever made, and their simplicity of operation and effect still make them a popular choice for certain applications.
If you need a view or the sun blocked out for a particular time of day only, this is the type of product most suitable, as it rolls up out of the way when not needed.
Nowadays, roller blinds are available with the older spring recoil mechanism, as well as the more user-friendly side control pulley system. The fabric choices also vary from translucent woven material to complete block-out PVC.
The latest development in roller blinds is the Solar Film Roller Blind. These are covered by a Mylar film which can be rolled down to exclude glare from the light outside, as well as harmful UV and infra red radiation from the sun. All this is achieved without sacrificing the view from inside the room or office, making this product extremely valuable when you have paid a premium for the view, and you wish to enjoy it.
By keeping out the damaging heat and sun, your furniture, flooring, pictures, and artwork, are protected from irreversible fading.
Reflective film options have a metallised exterior coating which reflect incoming light, and hence making it impossible to see through in the day time. This also insulates the interior from the heat of day, reducing the need for excessive use of air conditioning in summer.
